All About NDA Khadakwasla

• Establishment: NDA Khadakwasla was established in 1954. It is the first tri-service academy in the world.

   HOW TO JOIN NDA

To join the National Defence Academy (NDA), you need to go through a robust and fair selection process. Here’s a step-by-step guide to help you:

Step 1: Meet the Eligibility Criteria Ensure you satisfy the NDA eligibility criteria set by the UPSC and NDA officials.

Step 2: Fill out the NDA Application Form Get the NDA application form online from the UPSC’s website and fill it out correctly.

Step 3: Written Test (900 marks) Appear for the written test conducted by the UPSC, which consists of two papers:

• Maths paper (300 marks): 120 questions, 2.5 marks each, with negative marking.
• General Ability Test (GAT) paper (600 marks): 150 questions, 4 marks each, with negative marking.

Step 4: SSB Interview (900 marks) If you pass the written test, you’ll be called for the SSB interview, which is a 5-day process. This includes:

• Psychological tests (PPDT test, Thematic Apperception Test, Word Association Test, Situation reaction Test, Self Description Test)
• Physical tests

Step 5: Medical Examination If you clear the SSB interview, you’ll undergo a medical examination to ensure you’re fit for the Indian Armed Forces.
